Update on Books

Are you wondering just how many books this author has released? I am an African American woman, author, writer, freelancer, homemaker, wife, babysitter and I have managed to have published 6 books. I also have two book ideas that I sent out just a week or so ago. So if all goes well, this author will have accumulated 8 books.

In this blog, I mentioned that "Broken Voices" was coming out soon. Well it is here and so is "A New Home for Her Cubs" That title wasn't even mentioned.

Hey, don't forget, if you are in need of good books for your children, even the middle graders and young adults, I have them. Also, remember to that all of my books are sold on Amazon.com. They can be bought as ebooks and paperback books.

I am happy to announce that I have a new book coming out. This one is for the teens and it is full of drama. Working on the final edits. However, I've seen the cover and it is very eye appealing, a grabber for sure if you ask me.

Don't you want a copy of this one? I will tell you how you can own your very own copy as soon as it is released.

Here are my Books

Now this one isn't all my doing. I am the co-writer of this one. Another fantastic writer by the name of Jenny Wren is responsible for the book concept and idea. If you want to teach your child about God and Jesus, you will enjoy the Bible stories within.

This is a sweetheart of a book because it is for girls, all because the main characters in this book are female. I love giving stories that children can relate too.

This little book is full of animal tales. So, if you like animals you will love this book.

Three great stories are inside this book. You will love the characters and the imagination within the pages. Just so you know, I believe in fairy tales.
This one is my baby. A Cherokee Indian tale about a young boy afraid of having to give up his identity to go to school. You are going to love it. Would you like to know where you can purchase a copy of my books? Just email me and I will tell you how.

As you can see, I figured out how to upload my titles for you. I hope you like what you see, if you do, I welcome all comments and email messages.

Now that you have read my post, I want you to have a blessed day and be happy.

Who is Mz Nona?????

By now, I bet you are wondering who this stranger is knocking on your door. Hopefully, I will not be a stranger for too long. My name is Winona Rasheed, and I am a children's writer. I have five children books published. I love writing short stories. Some day, I hope to write a novel, but for now I am going to stick with what I do best and that is writing short stories. Most of my children books have three stories in them and one actually has five in it. My books are very entertaining, never a dull, boring moment for the reader or the listener.
Since I am talking about my books, it would only be appropriate to show you my titles. No, I am not bragging or boasting about my accomplishments, I am just doing a little promoting as all authors do when they have successfully published their keepsakes.
Well heck, I was going to insert my book covers, but this little task is not working out, as you can see I am still learning my way around on the blogger. It will get better with time, I promise.
But for now, this is where you can find my books if you are interested, and I sure hope you are.

This is my author's website because every author needs one. I also have a blog there too. Geesh, I am just a bloggin something. Can't you tell that I love writing and typing? It fills up those empty moments when you should be doing something else, but you really aren't in the mood because writing and typing is more enjoyable.

Another little tid bit of information about myself is that I promote the love of writing through my writing and editing business called, "Dream Writers' Essentials." Oh yeah, I do that too. I am an entrepreneuer. You can find my writing and editing business online. As you can see, writing is in my blood. I edit and do some ghost writing too. I love it! It keeps me busy. You guessed it, I do not have an idle mind. So, if I can be of writing or editing service to you, just let me know.

Though I live in the Nation's Capital, trust me when I say I am not a city mouse. As that song goes, "I'm a little bit country." I really long to live in Florida because winter and cold is not my cup of tea, and it seems to get worse as I grow older. Hate it!

Okay, I hope you enjoy my books, enjoy my websites and enjoy my blogs because you will be hearing more from this ole gal, because after all......I am a writer and I do have a lot to say.
